A damaged section of cornice and connecting ceiling panel that was brought in to us from a grade 2 listed building. The customers had a water leak that caused the ceiling and cornice to be extensivly damaged. On this particular project our customers asked us to fully replicate the mouldings at our workshop and also to carry out installation on site.

This ornate ceiling is from a listed building owned and used by Nottingham university. Due to various causes of damage over the years Aristocrat where entrusted to carry out numerous repairs to this decorative ceiling requiring a full range of skills and methods to bring this ceiling back to life.

In addition to working on larger scale projects Aristocrat also undertake smaller scale restoration to private homes. Using various methods to restore and repair damaged areas or simply the continuation of cornice to an extension or newly partitioned wall.

Plaster Archway

During a renovation project at this period property in Rutland this archway had been severely damaged. Originally this archway would have been ran in-situ on site with sand and lime undercoat and a solid plaster finish. Unfortunately the impost mouldings had been completely lost over the years so in addition to repairs to the archway Aristocrat also supplied and fitted bespoke impost mouldings.

Grade 1 Hall

Grade 1 Hall

Due to renovation work undertaken in the kitchen at this Jacobean style Hall Aristocrat undertook the task of replicating deatailed plasterwork. Although small in terms of job size this Hall having been built between 1618 to 1636 carries large historical importance. This meant any alterations required meticulous detail to preserve the intrinsic value to this beautiful old Hall.

Corbel project

Corbel project

A long term customer of ours brought this corbel into our factory with the desire to repair and replicate it. Some of these jobs are a favourite of ours, from initially receiving the corbel to hours of work carefully restoring it the finish product is extremely rewarding and this corbel is still sold today available from our factory showroom.
